About

Obsid Pro.

About the software and the developer.

The software

Obsid Pro lets you use your headphones and speakers at the same time on Windows 10 and 11. Windows does not support this out of the box. Obsid Pro uses a virtual audio cable to intercept system audio and route it to as many output devices as you select simultaneously.

On top of that it includes a 10-band parametric equalizer, the ability to import any EQ curve from a screenshot, spatial audio with HRIR processing, room calibration, and scene profiles for saving your setup. Everything installs automatically. The only manual step is setting Obsid Cable as your default audio device in Windows Sound Settings.

Obsid Pro is available on Windows 10 and 11. macOS and Android support are in development.

The developer

Obsid Pro was built by MegaGhostz, an indie developer. The project started in 2022 as a personal tool. The audio engine was built first and used privately for about a year, tested and refined without any plan to release it publicly.

After a year of personal use, the decision was made to turn it into a proper product. The installer, the app, and the website were all built from scratch alongside studying and other work. Development happened gradually over time, not all at once.

Obsid Pro v1.0.0 shipped in April 2026. Three years from the first line of code.
