Developer Access
Built on open tools.
Obsid Pro runs on infrastructure we built ourselves. The virtual audio cable at the core is open source, and the platform is expanding. Here is what is available now and what is coming.
Obsid Cable
Virtual audio driver, open source
Obsid Cable is the virtual audio driver that Obsid Pro uses internally to intercept and route system audio. It installs automatically during setup and appears in Windows as a standard audio output device. The driver is free, open source, and available as a standalone component for developers who want to build audio routing into their own applications without writing a driver from scratch.
Under maintenance. The standalone repository will be published shortly.
Obsid Pro for macOS
Native Apple Silicon and Intel build
Obsid Pro is Windows-only right now. The macOS version is being built natively using CoreAudio, targeting Apple Silicon first with Intel support alongside it. Every feature ships on macOS at the same time as Windows. No stripped-down port.
In development. No release date yet. Follow the changelog for updates.
