1. Ownership of Intellectual Property

All content, software, visual design, user interface elements, graphics, logos, wordmarks, audio processing technology, algorithms, documentation, and other materials that form part of Obsid Pro, including the desktop application and the website located at obsid.pro, are the exclusive intellectual property of Obsid Pro. All rights are reserved.

Unauthorised reproduction, distribution, modification, or use of any part of Obsid Pro may constitute a civil and criminal offence under applicable law.

2. What Your Subscription Grants You

Your active subscription grants you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the Obsid Pro software on the number of devices permitted by your subscription tier. This license is granted solely for your personal use and does not constitute a transfer of ownership of the software or any intellectual property rights associated with it.

The Obsid Pro plan permits use on personal devices by a single account holder. The Obsid Pro Plus plan permits use across up to four individual user accounts sharing a single subscription. In each case, each account holder receives the same personal, limited license described above. The license held by each account holder is individual and non-transferable.

Your license to use the software begins when your subscription is activated and ends when your subscription expires, is cancelled, or is terminated. Upon expiry of your license, you must cease use of the software and, where applicable, uninstall it from your devices. Continued use of the software after your license has expired constitutes infringement.

3. Prohibited Uses

The following activities are expressly prohibited without the prior written permission of Obsid Pro. These prohibitions apply to the software, the website, all brand assets, all documentation, and all other materials produced by or associated with Obsid Pro.

You may not copy, reproduce, duplicate, archive, or store the Obsid Pro software or any portion of it beyond what is necessary for normal use within the terms of your license. You may not distribute, publish, transmit, upload, or otherwise make the software available to any third party by any means including but not limited to file sharing networks, hosting platforms, messaging applications, or physical media.

You may not modify, adapt, translate, alter, edit, or create derivative works based on the Obsid Pro software or any portion of it. You may not reverse engineer, disassemble, decompile, decrypt, or otherwise attempt to derive the source code, underlying algorithms, audio processing logic, or any other non-public aspect of the software. This prohibition applies regardless of the purpose for which such activity is undertaken.

You may not sublicense, sell, resell, rent, lease, lend, assign, or otherwise transfer your license or any rights granted under it to any other person or entity. You may not use the software to operate a service bureau, time-sharing arrangement, or any other form of service for the benefit of third parties without a separate commercial license agreement.

You may not remove, obscure, or alter any copyright notices, trademark notices, proprietary legends, or other ownership markings appearing in or on the software or any accompanying documentation. The integrity of intellectual property notices must be maintained in all permitted copies and uses of the software.

You may not use the Obsid Pro name, logo, wordmark, visual identity, or any other brand asset in any context that implies affiliation with, endorsement by, or sponsorship by Obsid Pro without our prior written consent. This includes but is not limited to use in domain names, social media handles, product names, marketing materials, and press coverage that misrepresents the nature of the relationship.

4. Permitted Uses

Journalists, content creators, and reviewers may use screenshots and screen recordings of the Obsid Pro application and website for the purpose of editorial coverage, reviews, tutorials, and commentary about the software. Such use must accurately represent the software and must not be used to mislead readers or viewers about its features, performance, or origin.

You may refer to Obsid Pro by name when writing about it accurately and in good faith. Accurate descriptive references to Obsid Pro in the context of a review, comparison, or commentary do not require our permission provided they are not misleading and do not suggest affiliation, partnership, or endorsement that does not exist.

Developers seeking to integrate with Obsid Pro or to build complementary tools are encouraged to contact us at [email protected] to discuss licensing options. We may grant additional permissions beyond those described in this notice on a case by case basis where we determine that the proposed use is consistent with our interests and values.

5. Third Party Components

The Obsid Pro software may incorporate third party open source components. Where such components are used, they are used in full compliance with the terms of their applicable licenses. The inclusion of open source components does not affect the proprietary status of Obsid Pro as a whole or of the original code and technology developed by us.

Nothing in this copyright notice or in your license to use Obsid Pro grants you any rights in third party components beyond what is expressly permitted by the applicable open source license for each such component. 6. Your Content

Equalizer profiles, audio presets, spatial settings, and other configurations you create within the Obsid Pro application are your own content. We do not claim ownership over content you create using the software. By storing such content within our systems as part of the service, you grant us a limited license to store and process it solely for the purpose of providing the service to you.

This license to process your content does not give us any right to use your content for any other purpose, to share it with third parties, or to retain it beyond the period described in our Privacy Policy. Your content remains yours.

7. Enforcement

We actively monitor for unauthorised distribution, cracking, and modification of the Obsid Pro software. Accounts associated with infringement may be suspended or permanently terminated without notice. We reserve the right to pursue all available civil and legal remedies against individuals and entities responsible for infringement, including claims for damages, injunctive relief, and recovery of legal costs.
